For senior statesmen who have all family members in government jobs, the difference between their salaries and the salaries of ordinary citizens is extreme inequality of monthly income.
We are concretizing this reality created after the salary increase by comparing the monthly income of the family of 3 members of the Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, with a family of 3 members that is treated with economic assistance.
- The Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, has a monthly salary of 3.9 million lek and receives another 3 million lek per month in hand, such as fuel treatment, diet, telephone, payment for office meetings, parliamentary commissions and advice, or a total of 6.9 million ALL per month.
- Husband Ligor Nikolla, receives 1.3 million lek monthly salary as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering-Mathematics-Physics at the Polytechnic University of Tirana, as well as 208 thousand lek per month as a member of the Senate, as a leader of the opponent of scientific degrees, teaching fees and payments for additional hours, which, according to the calculation, amounts to an average of 1.5 million Lek per month.
- Livia Nikolla's daughter receives 1.3 million lek monthly salary as a Specialist in the State Bank, as well as 395 thousand lek monthly bonuses, which according to the account amounts to 1.7 million lek salary per month.
In total, the Speaker of the Assembly Lindita Nikolla and 2 members of her family receive from the state, 10 million old lek in salary and bonuses per month.
While a family with no income with 3 unemployed members, the left-wing government gives 48,000 old lek per month, as an economic aid payment to afford living, or 201 times less per month, than the salaries of Lindita Nikolla's family .
