The Durrës Prosecutor's Office is investigating a corruption scheme with the clearance of cars, with the protagonists being the Deputy Director General of Customs, Ergys Hoxha, known as the 'Drug Guy', his brother-in-law customs officer Endrit Pëllumbi and the Director of Customs Investigation, Artur Sejati, a 'old wolf' of customs beams, arrested in Greece for smuggling.

The Durrës Prosecutor's Office is investigating a corruption scheme with the clearance of cars, with the protagonists being the Deputy Director General of Customs, Ergys Hoxha, known as the 'Drug Guy', his brother-in-law customs officer Endrit Pëllumbi and the Director of Customs Investigation, Artur Sejati, a 'old wolf' of customs beams, arrested in Greece for smuggling.
The file is in the hands of prosecutor Pali Deçolli, who is investigating several criminal offenses such as smuggling of other goods (Article 174/1 of the Criminal Code), forgery of documents (Article 186/1 of the Criminal Code) as well as concealment of income (Article 180 of the Criminal Code).
Pali Deçolli, who is known as a prosecutor with integrity and who passed Vetingu without any problems, called Ergys Hoxha to question him on May 31, 2024.
Referring to the facts and connections, this file should be referred to SPAK for competence as we have elements of a corruption scheme, concealment of wealth, money laundering and a structured criminal group in customs.
More specifically, the Deputy Director General of Customs, Ergys Hoxha, has cleared two cars at the Durrës Customs, declaring them cheaper than he bought them in Germany, in order to reduce the customs duty, but also to hide the wealth due to the lack of legal sources of money to justify the value of the cars.
On 21/09/2020, with customs declaration no. R83210, Ergys Hoxha has cleared the Range Rover Sport 4.367 cc car, year of production 2017.
The declared value at customs clearance is 27 thousand euros.
However, the value according to the German export customs declaration with no. MRN20DE535534527481E6, the value of the car is 47 thousand euros.
On 04/12/2018, with customs declaration no. R128162, Ergys Hoxha has cleared the Audi A5 1.968 cc car, year of production 2016.
The value declared at customs clearance is 21,400 Euros.
Value according to the German export customs declaration with no. MRN18DE535596330543E9, date 03/12/2018, the value of the car is 33,400 Euros.
In both cases, the customs officer who did the customs assessment of the cars is precisely Endrit Pëllumbi, the brother-in-law of Ergys Hoxha.
The two cases are simply an illustration and the tip of the iceberg of the fatherland in customs, whose heads own villas and hotels, luxury cars, move bags of money and raise the bar even for loads of cocaine. Follows on other occasions.../ Backstage
