The episode is this: The former Director of Roads, Dashamir Xhika of LSI, at the end of July 2016, took a bag with 1 million Euros home to Edmond Haxhinastos, before he left for a Greek island for the engagement ceremony of his daughter Eliza Haxhinasto, with Franko Naço, son of Nasip Naço.
When the director Dashamir Xhika put the bag on the table and the mirror of banknotes in denominations of 20, 50 and 100 Euros, Edmond Haxhinasto rushed at him with insults and shot him with a cigarette butt, saying: - You trash, you brought them as if you beg on the streets? For 1 hour, I want a cut of 500 Euros".
Dashamir Xhika told this episode to his close friends, directors of LSI; and from them, the event was learned from Ilir Meta, while through him to the realtor, Ilir Meta's loyal spy, the Director of "Albcontrol", Petrit Sulaj, who started telling it as a humorous story at the tables.
Three months later, Edmond Haxhinasto was dismissed from office, a fact that shows that he had taken the 1 million Euro bag secretly and had not given the part to Ilir Meta, as they had agreed, a case that Ilir Meta investigated and discovered that he had done so sometimes.
On February 2, 2018, the Director of Roads, Dashamir Xhika, was arrested for corruption in the 5.4 million Euro tender for the Elbasan-Gjinar road, where no work was done and fake papers were made; as well as for the addition of 54 million Euros on the Tirana-Elbasan road by order of Minister Edmond Haxhinasto, where 18 million Euros were fictitious additions, over the real cost of the project.
In the Prosecution of Serious Crimes, director Dashamir Xhika mentioned the episode of the 1 million Euro bag that Edmond Haxhinastos had taken home; which, Xhika accepted and declared, that it was the minister's share, from the Elbasan-Gjinar road tender that was not built at all.
Ilir Meta's power over justice as President and Chairman of KLD, created the opportunity for Dashamir Xhika to change his testimony in agreement with the prosecutors, and on July 23, 2018 he was released.
But since he started to tell the cafes that he took the millions of tenders to Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi separately, he was returned to the cell on September 1, 2018, and after withdrawing his testimony again, on November 3 he was released and the case was closed with a prison sentence.
After the release of director Dashamir Xhika, the prosecution summoned former minister Edmond Haxhinasto twice, but did not start an investigation against him, while he was completely separated from LSI.
But at the Freedom Party assembly, Edmond Haxhiansto appears as the organizer and leader of the party convention, being re-introduced by Ilir Meta, as a loyal and visionary of the party./ Pamphlet
