In his first public appearance after the government meeting on August 28, the Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj, stated that for the rehabilitation of the water supply system in residential centers, 20 million Euros have been added from the 2024 budget.
In fact, the allocation of this additional fund was made before the meeting of the government and put into effect in July, passing it to the National Water and Sewerage Agency for tendering, while the prime minister made the allocation for investment areas in water supply. Edi Rama.
A week before the declaration of the budget supplement of 20 million Euros, it was announced that 12% of this fund, i.e. the value of 2.4 million Euros with VAT, will be invested in the central area of villas in Lalz, or as it is called, "The tourist village of politicians, rulers of thieving officials and corrupt chiefs of police and justice".
Now that the summer holidays are over, the Minister of Agriculture, Edi Rama, ordered to rehabilitate the water supply network in the central block 1/2/3 of the villas in Lalz, which turns out to be the 174 villas of high government officials such as Sali Berisha, Ilir Meta and ministers , deputies, prosecutors, judges, police chiefs and mayors.
As it seems, due to the increase in the number of villas, restaurants and resorts, the amount of water has decreased and they have asked Bablok to intervene with additional investment, as a guarantee for the water supply for the summer holidays of 2025.
