After the arrest warrant of the chief trafficker Ervin Mata, SPAK started the property investigation for him, the family members Luan, Merita and Emis Mata and ex-fiancée singer Elvana Gjata, based on evidence and evidence, that their assets and businesses are sourced from proceeds from cocaine.
With the wealth investigation of the family network of Bol Ervin Mata, SPAK went as far as his ex-fiancée, but did not include in the list his aunt, Adriana Berberi (Buzi), who according to the Anti-mafia law, she, her husband and children, they are called family members of the first rank and must be verified.
Because there is information that the trafficker Evin Mata, in addition to investing millions of Euros in hotel businesses and building towers, has financed the purchase of assets outside Albania, hidden also in Adriana Berberi, her husband Bedri Buzi and his son Besard Buzi together with his wife his minister.
According to the information received by "Pamfleti", Adriana Berberi's aunt of cocaine Bol, with the millions he gave her, bought 3 villas in Philadelphia.
The largest villa as an object and yard is in the name of Adrian Barber; 1 villa is in the name of the husband, while the other is in the name of the son, husband of the minister Bora Muzhaqi, but he has not declared this in the Property Inspectorate, even though he has a legal obligation.
All 3 villas are located in a residential area "Pa Welsh Rd-19115 Philadelphia", in a block of flats and set of addresses in Philadelphia, but with different ZIP Codes and phone numbers.
But the biggest villa is in the name of Adriana Berberi, with a surface area of 1344 m2 object and outdoor environment, and the purchased capital value is 350 thousand 558 USD, while the current value is 397 thousand USD, according to the market price assessment in the month of September 2023.
First, as a close family connection with the trafficker Ervin Mata, SPAK has an obligation under the Anti-mafia law to investigate the assets that Adriana Berberi, her husband, her son and her son's daughter-in-law, Minister Bora Muzhaqi, have in Albania, but and the financial source of the purchase of 3 villas in America where they have citizenship, while in Albania they have the "pot" of power.
Secondly, the 5 houses in Tirana, Durrës, Vlorë, Lalz and Shengjin and the 3 villas in the USA should be investigated by SPAK together with the property file of the family of the trafficker Ervin Mata, because these are high state officials.
- Adriana Berberi, retired for 3 years, is a Member of the Board of the Competition Authority, advisor of the Board of the Financial Supervision Authority and Member of the Board of the State Committee of Accounting Experts in the Ministry of Finance.
- Husband Bedri Buzi, at the age of 70, continues to be Head of the Seized Assets Agency and administrator, including the assets of Klodian Zoto, Mirel Mërtir, Lefter Koka and Alqi Bllakos.
- Besard Buzi's son is the Legal Head of the State Assets Agency in the Ministry of Finance, while his daughter-in-law Bora Muzhaqi is the Minister of Youth and Children.
The investigation can be done with only 2 questions: Did they have financial relations with the trafficker nephew Ervin Mata; and where they found the financial resources that bought the houses in Tirana, Durrës, Vlorë, Lalz and Shengjin and the 3 villas in America./ Pamphlet
