A macabre crime has shocked Italy, where a 42-year-old woman who was reported missing two weeks ago has been found dead.
Italian media reports that the perpetrator of Maria Campai's murder is a 17-year-old teenager they met online.
The serious incident happened in Viadana. It was Maria's sister who reported her disappearance two weeks ago. After the expertise, it turned out that the 17-year-old had hit Maria several times in the head, causing serious injuries, and then strangled her.
It is also noted that after the crime, the teenager dragged the woman's body and threw it in an abandoned house where he hid it in a place that was very difficult to see.
After the arrest, Maria's sister stated that the 17-year-old caught by the police is the same one with whom Maria was talking. The woman explained that she had accidentally met the young man with whom her sister had left on September 19.
"He was entering a pharmacy. I recognized him, it was him. Then I know that she went on a date with him," she said.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the victim was of Romanian origin.
