Heavy snow that hit southern Germany on Friday night and continued today has caused flight disruptions at Munich Airport, the country's second busiest.
Flights were suspended until noon Saturday due to heavy snow, airport officials said.
Around 320 of the 760 flights scheduled for Saturday have been cancelled, the German news agency DPA reported. Crews are trying to keep at least one runway in service free of snow.
Problems have also been caused with train services in southern Bavaria, and Munich's main train station is virtually at a standstill.
Long-distance train services have been canceled and the measure is expected to apply throughout Saturday.
"They recommend postponing your trips to and from Munich," the authorities said, according to the dpa news agency.
