Iran has rejected claims by US President Donald Trump that a draft agreement has been reached between the parties to end the conflict.
State media in Tehran have announced that Iran has not yet approved any text for an agreement with the US.
According to an "informed source", no text has been approved for the initial memorandum of understanding with the United States.
The inside source, said to be close to the Islamic republic's negotiating team, appeared to distance himself from President Trump's claims just hours ago, Iran's Fars news agency reported.
Earlier this evening, Trump announced on Truth Social that he was calling off planned strikes on Iran due to discussions at the "highest level."
He claimed that Iran agreed on a text for the initial memorandum of understanding and that a deal would be "announced soon," which has already been denied by Tehran.
