The truce is on a "thread" / Israel demands the release of some

The truce between Israel and Hamas is again at an impasse due to the problems that occurred in the release of some hostages. Israel has sent Hamas a list of people it wants to release, but Hamas has said they were killed during the bombing.

The Jewish state asked Hamas to release a mother and her two children, Shiri Bibas, Ariel, 4, and Kfir, 10 months, but the militant group claims they have been killed.

"The family, including 10-month-old Kfir, his four-year-old brother Ariel and mother Shiri, were killed in Israeli shelling before the ceasefire began," the al Qassam Brigades said in a statement.

The claims, made on the group's social media, have not been independently verified and the Israeli military said it had launched an investigation.

Biba's family claims that Hamas is playing psychological games and won't release him for their own benefit.

The parties involved in the agreement are conducting intensive talks in order to extend the ceasefire which ends this evening. But one of the key issues is the release of the hostages, as the Bibas family was on the list of people Israel wants freed.
