
200 aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip today from the Rafah border crossing, as part of the agreement between Israel and Hamas for a "humanitarian pause" in the conflict.
The media director of the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Gaza, Vail Abu Muhsin, said in a statement to Anadolu that 200 aid trucks arrived in the Gaza Strip yesterday. He announced that the aid consisted of 4 trucks loaded with gas and 3 trucks loaded with 150,000 liters of diesel, as well as water, food and medicine.
Abu Muhsin said that the flow of humanitarian aid is expected to continue today.
The agreement between Israel and Hamas regarding the 4-day "humanitarian pause" began at 07:00 local time on Friday, November 24.
Hamas announced that the "humanitarian pause" included the entry of 200 aid trucks and 4 fuel tankers per day to the Gaza Strip as well as the exchange of prisoners.
Qatar announced on November 27 that the "humanitarian pause" had been extended for another 2 days as a result of mediation efforts between Hamas and Israel.
