US President Donald Trump has been named in the Jeffrey Epstein files after the Justice Department released 3 million pages of documents. The massive disclosure includes nearly 2,000 videos and 180,000 images from the records.
They are coming after thousands of additional pages were previously made available to the public.
A document alleges that an unnamed woman was forced to perform oral sex on President Trump 35 years ago. In the explosive revelation, it is alleged that the young woman bit Trump during the sexual encounter.
Several individuals have already appeared in photographs within the files, including former President Bill Clinton.
The photos of the women featured in the documents have been redacted, except for those showing convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein's associate, Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for her role in providing underage women for the paedophile.
Neither Trump nor Clinton have been formally accused of any misconduct, Express reports.
Previous releases of documents suggest that Trump repeatedly traveled aboard Epstein's private jet.
According to Fox News, the lawsuit accused Trump and Epstein of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl at a rally organized by the pedophile financier in 1994. The lawsuit reportedly described similar acts in which Trump allegedly tied the plaintiff to a bed, raped her, and then threatened her family if she spoke out.
Epstein is also alleged to have raped the plaintiff.
In 2016, the case was voluntarily dismissed without prejudice and no charges were ever filed. Trump's representatives at the time said the allegations were "categorically false."
Many prominent people are named or otherwise implicated in the dossier, but their presence does not mean they are accused of wrongdoing or that they had knowledge of Epstein's crimes. Epstein was well-connected, and prosecutors in the case gathered as many files as they could to conduct their investigation, meaning that those who knew him but played no role in his crimes, or were unaware of them, could be named in the dossier.
The US Justice Department has labeled other parts of the dossier mentioning Trump as "untrue and sensational" and noted that they were submitted anonymously to the FBI in 2020, without evidence. US officials have been keen to clarify that no documents suggested that Trump was under investigation for any wrongdoing.
While the president has claimed that some of the files were "forged" or manipulated by his rivals, the department's disclosures have been heavily criticized for heavy censorship, missing documents and the disappearance of evidence, including an alleged incident where a photo of Trump "disappeared" from the website moments after it was posted.
He has called other parts of the documents that refer to Trump "untrue and sensational" and noted that they were anonymously handed over to the FBI in 2020, without evidence. US officials have been keen to clarify that none of the documents showed Trump was being investigated for any misconduct. He himself has insisted that some of the documents were "forged" or altered by his opponents.
