The former Belgian Minister of Justice, Vincent Van Quickborne, was the victim of abuse by a priest. After resigning as minister of justice after the terrorist attack in Brussels, he recounted a series of events he experienced during his stay at the dormitory in Ghent. According to him, it was common for a priest to perform such actions.
"If you were sick, the priest would come into your room and you would have to take off your pants," Vincent Van Quickborn said.
He also said that many young men were also victims.
According to him, something similar had happened to other boys as well. The former minister pointed out that they had not even talked to their parents about what was happening.
As the rtl network points out, the person's name appeared on the list of names of priests accused of sexual violence in Belgium. He also said that the priest is no longer alive.
