After China, ministers from Arab and Muslim countries, who have begun an international tour aimed at ending the war in the Middle East, will be in Moscow tomorrow.
They will be hosted by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and will discuss the desperate situation in Gaza.
The tour of the foreign ministers of the countries of the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation is the first step of the Islamic Ministerial Committee to implement the decisions taken at the Arab-Islamic summit, which was held in Riyadh at the beginning of the month.
The meeting adopted a resolution instructing the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, Indonesia, Nigeria and Palestine to take immediate international action on behalf of all member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Conference and Arab League.
Ministers will visit other countries after China and Moscow to convey a strong message to reach an immediate ceasefire and facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, noted Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan.
The prince also discussed the developments in Gaza with the European Union's foreign policy official Joseph Borrell on Saturday.
After the meeting, he said that despite the international community's agreement on the importance of peace, not enough attention is being paid to the need for an immediate ceasefire.

"We hope that at some point we will be able to resume efforts for lasting peace with the creation of a Palestinian state that will provide security for all of us in the region, but the priority now is to end the fighting. We must to work together to ensure that we put an end to this fighting and civilian suffering that we see every day in Gaza after the constant Israeli bombardment," he said.
The Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister reiterated the importance of the international community's active role in ending the military escalation and preventing the forced displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
