According to reports at least 320 foreign nationals used the Rafah crossing to leave Gaza today. In total, it is said that 500 people were able to escape from the terrible Israeli attacks.
Three Egyptian security sources and a Palestinian official told the Reuters news agency that the crossing opened this morning to allow seriously injured evacuees into Egypt, but foreign nationals were also among the first to leave the enclave.
The Palestinian official on the Gaza side of the border said foreign passport holders left the Strip in six buses, with the rest expected to leave in the coming days.
