British Prime Minister Keir Stramer has reacted in connection with the Israeli attacks on Iran. Starmer said today that Iran should not retaliate against the wave of Israeli attacks.
The British Prime Minister requested, among other things, restraint from both sides.
Earlier on Saturday, Israel struck military facilities in Iran, saying it was retaliating against Tehran's attacks on Israel this month, the latest attack in the escalating conflict between the heavily armed rivals.
"I am clear that Israel has the right to defend itself against Iranian aggression, and I am equally clear that we must avoid further regional escalation and call on all parties to show restraint. Iran should not respond. We will continue to work with allies to de-escalate the situation across the region," Starmer said.
This Saturday morning, several loud explosions were heard in the capital of Iran, Tehran, and in the nearby city of Karaj.
Regarding the attacks, the USA also reacted, saying that "Israel is defending itself! The attack comes as a response to the October 1 ballistic missiles."
