Rozalinda Plaka is expected to be questioned again, while her testimony has not yet clarified the motive for the crime.

The tragic event that shocked Roskovec two days ago continues to remain at the center of the investigation, while the investigative group is expected to again question 24-year-old Rozalinda Plaka, who was held hostage for several hours by her ex-partner, Refit Buzi, after the latter killed her father and seriously injured her mother, who died a few hours later.

Sources close to the investigation indicate that the young woman's initial testimony did not help clarify the motives that allegedly led the 35-year-old to commit the serious crime and then commit suicide, after about 10 hours of negotiations with the Police and RENEA forces to surrender.

According to the same sources, Rozalinda Plaka, immediately after being released from the perpetrator, described only the events that occurred in the apartment on the morning of July 24.

In a serious psychological state, she stated that she was asleep when she heard noises in the house. When she woke up, she saw Refit Buzin in her room, armed with a shotgun.

"He threatened me to get in the car with him and follow him," she told investigators.

The 24-year-old also said that at that moment she did not immediately understand what had happened in the apartment.

"I only saw my father lying in the kitchen, while I couldn't see my mother," she is said to have testified.

Regarding the motives of the incident, the end of her relationship with Refit Buzin, as well as the latter's claims that he had sent her 830 thousand pounds from England for safekeeping and that they had not been returned, the 24-year-old has not given any explanations. For this reason, the investigative team is expected to question her again in the continuation of the investigation.

The serious incident occurred on the morning of July 24 in the village of Vidhisht, Roskovec. As a result of the attack, Kosta Plaka lost his life, while his wife, Belere Plaka, was seriously injured and died a few hours later in hospital. After the incident, the suspected perpetrator, 35-year-old Refit Buzi, committed suicide inside his vehicle, refusing to surrender despite negotiations with the Police and RENEA forces, which lasted about 10 hours.

How did the crime happen?

The serious crime that shocked Roskovec on the morning of July 24 continues to be investigated, while the investigative team is verifying all leads that may have led to the tragic event.

According to the information so far, 35-year-old Refit Buzi shot his ex-father-in-law, Kosta Plaka, who died on the spot. During the attack, his ex-mother-in-law, Belere Plaka, was also seriously injured, and died a few hours later in hospital.

After the crime, Buzi took his ex-partner hostage and isolated himself for several hours, while the area was surrounded by Police and RENEA forces. At the end of the operation, he refused to surrender and committed suicide inside his vehicle.

One of the leads being examined by investigators is related to the 24-year-old's refusal to return to a relationship with her ex-partner. The two young people had lived together in Tirana, where the young woman was a student in the nursing department.

According to her family, there was a significant age difference between them. They were engaged and lived together for a period, but then the 24-year-old decided to end the relationship for reasons that have not yet been disclosed.

Her relatives claim that after the separation, Refit Buzi constantly threatened her with a gun, forcing her to interrupt her studies and return to her native village. According to them, the 35-year-old had been arrested several times and, most recently, was under "house arrest".

Meanwhile, the author's parents present a different version of the conflict. They claim that the dispute with the family of the former cohabitant centered on a financial issue.

According to them, the 35-year-old had sent money from England while he was living with the young woman and, after the separation, had requested the return of the amount, but this request was not accepted. The author's father says that it was at that moment that relations between the two families began to deteriorate.

"There were conflicts with the girl's family, but we don't know the exact details. Since she came, since she returned because she was abroad, she had sent some money. She had sent it in her name. When she returns from there, she asks for that money, which was destroyed there, but I don't know the exact conversations. Since those days, the conversation broke down. Every time she came here, she told us not to tell her parents. She would come secretly. She would come without her parents' permission, she would meet with Nertil. Even before this conversation started," the 35-year-old's father stated.
