Russia has requested a UN Security Council meeting regarding Western arms supplies to Ukraine, a source in the world organization told TASS on Friday.
"For January 22, a meeting has been requested for the supply of western weapons to Ukraine ," he said.
Earlier, Western countries called for a UN Security Council meeting on January 10 regarding arms supplies to Russia attributed to North Korea.
The spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, repeatedly emphasized that the accusations of Western countries of illegal military-technical cooperation between Russia and North Korea are baseless.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called Washington's rumors that Pyongyang is providing military assistance to Moscow.
