Gaza has suffered its third total communications blackout since the start of the Israel-Hamas war, as three children and their grandmother were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a car, according to a Lebanese official.
The "new connection collapse" across Gaza was reported by the Internet access protection group NetBlocks.org and confirmed by the Palestinian telecom company Paltel.

Meanwhile in Lebanon, the state-owned National News Agency and Ali Safieddine, head of civil defense in Tire district, reported that an Israeli attack targeted a car in southern Lebanon, between the villages of Aynata and Aitaroun.
A woman and three children, aged 10, 12 and 14, were killed and others wounded, the news agency said, while a Hezbollah politician said the woman was their grandmother. Hezbollah politician Hassan Fadlallah described the alleged attack as a "dangerous development", warning that Israel would pay a price.
The militant group said it fired several rockets at the northern Israeli city of Kiryat Shmona in retaliation for the attack. Lebanon will file a complaint with the United Nations over the killings, the country's foreign minister, Abdallah Bou Habib, said.
Bou Habib told Reuters that Lebanon was gathering information and pictures and would likely submit its complaint on Monday. The Israeli military also claimed on Sunday evening that an Israeli was killed in an attack by Hezbollah.
The Israeli military spokesman did not provide details about the reported attack, but said the military operates based on intelligence information and reviews any events in Lebanon. Israeli forces have exchanged fire with Iran-backed Hezbollah across the border in the country's north since the October 7 Hamas attack.
