A stabbing attack was recorded this afternoon in Israel. At least six people were injured, 5 of them in a serious condition. The knife attack reportedly took place in the Israeli city of Hadera.
Israeli police said the attacker was shot and "neutralized" after six people were stabbed in the town of Hadera.
" Four separate locations have been identified, resulting in six victims with stab wounds ," Israeli forces said without giving details.
The city's Hillel Yaffe Medical Center said five people were in critical condition or seriously injured, while a sixth person was moderately injured.
Israel has been on high security alert since a Hamas attack a year ago sparked the war in Gaza, while the conflict with Hezbollah in Lebanon continues to escalate.
