A student gunman killed 14 people in a shooting attack at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. During the attack, 25 other people were injured.
The Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague announced that as a result of this tragedy, it will remain closed at least until the end of January.
According to the announcement, students will not be required to take exams after the winter term that ends on January 12.
“All assessments (for students) will be conducted on a voluntary basis and the format may be adjusted depending on the circumstances. We want to assure you that even if you do not receive any credit for the winter semester, you will be able to continue your studies and successfully complete your program in the future," the faculty announced.
The author of the crime, 24-year-old David Kozak, confessed to me about another double murder through a letter a few days before he committed suicide.
The letter was found in David Kozak's house and through it, he revealed that he killed a man and his little daughter in a forest near Prague on December 15, six days before the attack on the university.
The police said that he was on the list of 4,000 suspects for the murder of two victims, while he also killed his father, bringing the number of those killed to 17.
