Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel will continue its offensive against Hamas in Gaza by including the "last stronghold" in Rafah.
He said international pressure on Israel was mounting, but the country must close ranks and stand together against efforts to stop the war.
The Israeli leader said troops would continue to attack Hamas throughout Gaza, including Rafah, Hamas' last stronghold.
" Anyone who tells us not to act in Rafah is telling us to lose the war and that's not going to happen ," he said, addressing a graduation ceremony at a training school for Israeli army officers.
Israel is widely expected to launch a ground offensive in Gaza's southernmost city. Meanwhile, Joe Biden has previously warned Israel against moving without a "credible" plan to protect civilians.
