During today's conference, the representative of the European Commission, Eric Mamer, was asked about Russia's missile attack on Odessa the day before.
He said that this act of Russia shows that it fears the leaders of the West, condemning it as an act that endangered the lives of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"What is clear is that whatever the Russians want to do, they are failing. It is clear that we will continue to stand by Ukraine as we have done since the beginning of the conflict. Such actions do not prevent us from supporting Ukraine," he said.
We remember that the bombing happened very close to the place where these leaders were holding meetings, together with their delegations, but fortunately no one was injured.
