After hopes of a ceasefire failed to materialize this morning, attention appears to have turned once again to a possible ground invasion of Lebanon.
Israel's military chief had already said the army should prepare for a possible ground operation in Lebanon, and Israel has begun massing forces along the border in recent days.
Earlier this evening, the air force chief said they were preparing "for a ground maneuver".
Tonight, Israeli military vehicles were seen transporting tanks and armored vehicles towards the country's northern border with Lebanon, a day after commanders issued a call for reservists.
Several tanks arrived in Kiryat Shmona, a hard-hit town just a few kilometers from the border. Israeli air defenses earlier intercepted a barrage of rockets fired from Lebanon.
Israel's determination to continue the attacks was also expressed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who declared in a post on "X" that Israel will speak with actions, not words!
