Shortly after the failure of US-Iran talks in Islamabad and the departure of JD Vance from Pakistan, US President Donald Trump attended a UFC match in Miami.
Trump went to UFC 327 in Miami on Saturday night, the President's first appearance at a sporting event since the start of the war with Iran.
The US President entered the arena with UFC CEO Dana White, passed by commentators Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier and exchanged a few words with them.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio was standing near the stands just before Trump came out, then leaned over and began whispering very close to the president, covering his mouth with his hands. Trump then turned, raising his fist at those seated behind him, smiling and waving, and then pointing several times at the crowd.
Trump's comment to Paulo Costa: "You're very handsome"
Later, Donald Trump had a chat with Brazilian fighter Paulo Costa, who scored a stunning third-round knockout of undefeated Azamat Murzakhanov to establish himself as a contender for the lightweight and heavyweight titles.
The two men shook hands and appeared to chat, with the details only emerging later. A video showed Costa thanking Trump for "what you're doing." And things got weirder when Trump responded: "You're a beautiful man and a great fighter."
Costa continued to speak to the President, but since English was his second language, it was difficult to understand him.
