Despite the fact that Ukraine is in debt due to the war and is being kept 'alive' by Western funding, the richest person in Ukraine, Rinat Akhmetov, has decided to buy a superyacht worth 500 million dollars.
The company 'LuerssenYachts', which has created the yacht, has just completed the last sea trials and will soon deliver it to the richest man in Ukraine.
The yacht named 'Luminance' is a 5 star floating super hotel. It consists of 4 floors and has platforms for landing helicopters. It also has a giant swimming pool and a 'Beach Bar'. It lacks nothing, inside it can be found a beauty salon, an elevator, underwater lights, a gym, a jacuzzi and several lounges and dining options.
Spotted recently heading for her final sea trials, this 9,400-tonne yacht will be the largest yacht delivered in 2023 to Ukraine's richest man, Rinat Akhmetov.
While official details remain unconfirmed, yachting industry experts estimate that the extravagant Luminance can easily accommodate at least 24 guests in 12 luxurious staterooms. Excluding here dedicated facilities for the dedicated crew and a staff of 40 to ensure maximum service and attention to the people on board.
Luminance is valued at $500 million and its annual maintenance cost is projected to be around $50 million.
