Macron emphasized that the issue of Kosovo is a promise and a pledge for the future of the region and that everything is included in the agreement "signed a year ago".
" France will make sure that every step of that agreement is fulfilled. It is necessary that the participants in the attacks in Banjska are held accountable and such a drama is not repeated.
I also want Prishtina to respect its commitments, as well as for the elections to be respected with full democratic legitimacy, especially in municipalities with predominantly Serbian majority ," said the French president.
This was said in public, as something else happened behind the scenes. According to the Serbian media, in fact Vučić's visit to France has nothing to do with Kosovo, but an agreement has been reached between them for the purchase of planes. So France will give Serbia fighter jets of the "Rafale" model, a very advanced model.
"N1" reports that Vučić stated that in the meeting and dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron, he reached "several concrete agreements", including those on the purchase of Rafale fighter jets, and that he expects to sign the contract in the next two months.
According to the Serbian president, it is about airplanes that are "probably the most expensive in the whole world".

They are not like F-35 or F-22. These are the planes with the most modern systems. This is gen 4 plus, before our MIGs and everything else.
