Greece has been affected by bad weather in recent days. A state of emergency has been declared in Rhodes, after it was hit by the storm "Bora".
So far, 3 people have lost their lives due to the storm. Two men died in a flooded village in Lemnos, north of the Aegean Sea.
Rescue teams on the islands, aided by the military and local authorities, rescued many elderly residents in flood-hit areas after winds of up to 129 km/h and torrential rain over the weekend overturned cars, caused power outages and damaged the streets.
Among the hardest hit areas was the popular Rhodes resort of Faliraki, where flooding caused by torrential rains destroyed a bridge, caused a chasm to open in the ground and damaged homes and shops on the coast.
