The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has announced the dismissal of Ana Bernabic from the post of Prime Minister of the country. Brnabic will not be left without a post, as Vucic announced, she is now a candidate for Speaker of the Serbian Parliament.
Vučić did not give details about who will replace Brnabic as the prime minister of Serbia, but added that the mandate for the composition of the new government will be decided in seven to ten days.
But as it is said in the Serbian media, the next prime minister of Serbia will be one of Vučić's most trusted people, the current Minister of Defense, Miloš Vučević.
Before announcing this decision of the Presidency of the SNS, Vučič said that the formation of the Movement for the People and the State was discussed, which, according to him, was not an "ad hoc" that was formed for the elections.
Vucic hinted at a catastrophic situation in mid-May in terms of security in Europe, stressing that Serbia is small and cannot influence those processes.
He said that the situation in Kosovo is serious and that the government is fighting for the position of the Serbs, that is, there is no progress in the talks between the special envoy of the European Union, Miroslav Lajcak, and the politicians of Pristina on the use of dinars in Kosovo. He added that they will seek solutions until the last moment.
