Donald Trump, the US president-elect, who officially takes office on January 20, 2025, has not spared jokes about Elon Musk.
During a gala party at Mar-a-Lago in the state of Florida with his team of candidates for the next government, Trump joked with Musk that he couldn't get him off his property anymore, and following the joke states that "he could not get rid of it".
In fact, Musk can often be seen at Trump's side at the moment.
In his speech, Trump said: “we have a man here with an impressively high IQ. I believe in his high intelligence, which is among the highest there is."
“Elon, what a job he's doing,” Trump said, adding “he's great, he's a really good guy. You know, he likes this place. I can't get him out of here. He just loves this place. And what? I love having him here too.”
Musk, who was appointed by Trump to review the government's efficiency, took the stage shortly after the president-elect. "As President Trump said, we need common sense," Musk told the audience. "This will not be business as usual. This will be a revolution," he said.
