After Wanger's coup attempt, Putin reappears with senior military leaders

Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued a press release today, after yesterday's attempted coup by Wagner.

Putin has given his support to the top military leaders that Yevgeny Prigozhin wanted to overthrow.

In his statement, Putin said that he is in constant contact with officials of the Ministry of Defense and feels confident in the realization of all its plans regarding the special military operation.

We recall that the Wagner group's insurrection, brought many speculations about Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is said to have escaped from Moscow.

According to some reports, the Russian presidential plane left Moscow at 14:16 local time. It is learned that the plane took off from Moscow's Vnukovo Airport and then headed to the north-west of the country, to one called Tver, about 180 km from the capital.
