Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that Russia is considering the possibility of withdrawing from the wheat agreement, during a meeting with journalists.
He drew attention to the fact that most of the Ukrainian wheat, contrary to the agreements, goes to the rather "prosperous" countries of the European Union.
" We understand that. We deliberately agreed to the wheat deal, to support developing countries, our friends, and to lift sanctions on our agricultural sector. However, we were fooled again. Therefore, we are now thinking of withdrawing from this so-called wheat agreement ", he said, adding that almost no part of Ukrainian wheat reaches African countries.
