US President Joe Biden has reacted for the first time after the deadly Palestinian attacks on Israel, where more than 100 people were killed and more than 800 were injured.

Biden said he had a telephone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and added that he had assured him that the US was ready to provide all appropriate means of support.

" I have made it clear to Prime Minister Netanyahu that we are ready to provide all appropriate means of support to the Government and people of Israel. Israel has the right to defend itself and its people. The United States warns against any other party hostile to Israel seeking an advantage in this situation ," he added.

Meanwhile, regarding these attacks, it has been announced that the Security Council of the United Nations will meet on Sunday.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned the attack by Hamas and called for all diplomatic efforts to avoid a wider conflagration.
