The danger of a 3rd World War, the Tsar has 700,000 soldiers at the front

Disappointed, but I want to avoid a third global conflict. If oil prices fall, the Tsar will retreat...

The US-UK alliance is strengthening. After a lavish reception at Windsor Castle by King Charles III, US President Donald Trump flew to Prime Minister Keir Starmer's country residence, Chequers, and spoke of a bond of indescribable, unique and unbreakable value with London that has "gone even stronger".

The US and the UK have "renewed their special relationship and gone beyond it" and are "partners" unmatched in the world in security, defence, politics, economics and now "also in cooperation in science and technology", the Prime Minister said.

He announced that bilateral economic agreements had been reached that will promote "a record" 250 billion pounds in mutual investment (and about 1.5 million jobs in the future). The technology cooperation agreement signed with Starmer will allow "America and our British allies to dominate the future of artificial intelligence," the tycoon promises, noting that it will also cover nuclear energy.

At the heart of the summit, in addition to the economy and trade, are undoubtedly the most pressing foreign policy issues, starting with the war in Ukraine. The British Prime Minister emphasizes the partnership with the US as essential in the face of international crises and security threats, and speaking alongside the commander-in-chief, he once again denounces Russia's actions, calling for the need to "increase pressure" on Vladimir Putin.

Trump, however, reiterates that he thought the conflict in Ukraine would be "easier" to end "because of my relationship with Putin, but he has let me down. He has really let me down." He reiterates that the Kremlin czar "is killing a lot of people, but he is losing more than he is killing" and that there is a way to get Russia to withdraw from the conflict: "if the price of oil falls, Putin will be forced to abandon this war. And crude oil is falling; it is relatively lower today."

The president said he hoped for "some good news in the coming days," while the prime minister recalled that the Russian leader only made concessions when Trump pressured him. Trump responded by stating that he still wanted to avoid the risk of "a World War III."

Meanwhile, Putin reported that "over 700,000 troops are on the line of contact," and Foreign Minister Lavrov accused Europe of not wanting peace and added that he wanted to continue dialogue with Washington.

However, on the Middle East front, the head of the White House explains that he "disagrees" with the prime minister on recognizing a Palestinian state.

"It's one of the few points of our disagreement," he admits, insisting that he has no intention of forcing Benjamin Netanyahu to cease military action in Gaza until "the hostages are released."

In July, Starmer announced that Britain would take steps to recognize Palestinian statehood at the UN General Assembly if Israel did not meet certain conditions, including reaching a ceasefire in Gaza.

However, the United States has firmly rejected the idea, although France, Canada and other Western allies are ready to give the green light this week at UN headquarters.
