US Secretary of State Marco Rubio described President Donald Trump's meeting with Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky and European leaders, held in Washington, as "unprecedented" in scale.
He told Fox that “this was all a huge, unprecedented moment when you think about all these European leaders who came here.”
"Seven were there, and that included the head of NATO and the head of the EU. And they all said the same thing, that after three years of deadlock and no talks and no change in circumstances, this is the first time that there seems to be any movement," Rubio said.
