The Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, during a speech held in the Upper House of the Russian parliament, declared that the West's efforts to isolate Russia have totally failed. He added that Russia will not withdraw from its special operation in Ukraine.
" The policy aimed at isolating Russia has failed. It is enough to mention the numerous cases of interaction between President Putin and his foreign colleagues. We, as you know and see in reality, are ready for such a challenge and will we continue to resolutely support our truth ," Lavrov said.
Among other things, he added that Russia's support and credibility at the UN has increased significantly.
" We are not adapting to the concepts and schemes proposed by other countries. We are forming our foreign policy agenda ourselves, guided by our priorities, respecting, I must emphasize, the recognized norms of international law and taking into account the interests of our partners who are ready to work with us based on mutual respect and consideration of sovereign interests ", concluded Lavrov.
