A Russian drone has hit a Ukrainian passenger train, injuring at least 30 people and killing an unknown number, as the Kremlin continues its war against Ukraine.
Several videos posted on social media show the Ukrainian train carrying passengers engulfed in flames and smoke. The train was making its regular journey from Kiev to Shostka, located in the northeastern Sumy region.

Russia is systematically attacking Ukraine's railway infrastructure, with the aim of paralyzing logistics, including the transportation of military equipment.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on social media that "dozens of people are suspected of being injured" while regional governor Oleh Hryhorov said the number of victims was being counted.
Zelensky said that 30 people were injured, including children.
"This is terror that the world has no right to ignore. Every day, Russia takes human lives. And only force can force it to stop. We have heard strong statements from Europe and America, and it is time for all of them to become reality," Zelensky wrote.
The head of the European Union, Ursula von der Leyen, has condemned the attack.
"The shocking scenes emerging from the Shostka railway station reveal Russia's willingness to target civilians," she wrote.
"The EU and global partners must increase pressure on Russia until it accepts long-term peace," she added.
The attack comes at a time when the prospect of peace seems more distant than ever, even as the war nears its fourth anniversary.
American efforts to end the conflict have shown little success, as Ukraine and Russia's positions are so different.
US President Donald Trump has so far failed to organize a trilateral summit or a face-to-face meeting between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine, as Moscow aims to avoid direct meetings.
Russian President Vladimir Putin calls the war a "special military operation" to demilitarize Ukraine.
The West has responded to Russia by hitting its economy with harsh sanctions. The war has killed thousands and displaced millions from their homes. /REL/
