Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei warned the US after reports of US military attacks on Iranian ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
In a post on X, he stated that the adventurism and propaganda that the US is trying to show cannot hide its failure in the war. Baghaei emphasized that achievements and sporadic attacks have no impact on reality.
" Intriguing and naive euphemisms, such as 'a light slap', can do nothing to erase the deep shame that arises from narcissism, greed, reckless miscalculations and illegal irresponsibility. The consequences of this strange adventurism and deceptive behavior have now become clear to the whole world. The detached and illusory tweets no longer have any bearing on reality, although, as always, the deeper they sink into stupidity, the more inventive they become in justifying it ," he wrote in 'X'.
His comments come as the US military said earlier today that it had shot down two Iranian-flagged tankers that were apparently trying to circumvent the ongoing US blockade of Iranian ports. Despite the attacks, the US is expecting a response from Tehran today on a proposal to end the US-Israeli war against Iran.
