The US has raised the alarm for its citizens around the world because of the conflicts that are taking place in several regions, such as Ukraine and the Middle East.
The State Department issued a statement to all its citizens around the world, explaining that the alert was issued due to increased tensions in various countries around the world, the potential for terrorist attacks, demonstrations or violent actions against citizens and American interests.
"Worldwide Attention: Due to heightened tensions in various countries around the world, the potential for terrorist attacks, demonstrations, or violent actions against American citizens and interests, the State Department advises American citizens overseas to exercise increased caution, " writes DASH in a post on the 'X' platform.

The alert advises US citizens overseas to "exercise increased caution". Such an alert was previously issued in August 2022 following the killing of al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawihiri by a US drone.
