The director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, held an extraordinary press conference this afternoon regarding the kidnapping of three Kosovo police officers.
During his speech, he rejected the claims of the Kosovar side, that the operatives were kidnapped, as he added that Belgrade is ready to make available all the evidence to the international factor.
According to him, the police of Kurti were armed to the teeth and were arrested in the Serbian territory near the village of Gnjilica in the Municipality of Rashka. Petkovic also added that everything will be determined by the investigation of the Serbian authorities.
"The anti-terrorist unit of the Gendarmerie today arrested three members of Kurti's special units who were armed to the teeth with the initials RZBS and M.Š. They were arrested at 12:38 deep in the territory of Serbia, in the village of Gnjilica in the Municipality of Rashka. Members of our police did not trespass on the territory of Kosovo and Metohija and did not violate any international agreement, because they did not cross the administrative line, those who violated it were members of the Kosovo Police. We are ready to provide all the evidence and open the international background for this, for the British and the Americans to show their satellite images to show that we have not entered even a millimeter there and all to prove that Sweden is lying when he says they were kidnapped. Explain to me what they are looking for with long barrels, with automatic weapons, with maps, with a GPS device, in the territory of central Serbia, in the forest. The investigation will establish this", said Petkovic.
Among other things, he called the claims of the Kosovar side propaganda, as he added that the kidnapped are the Serbs in the north of Kosovo who, according to him, are arrested without any reason, referring to the case of Milenkovic and some others. According to him, the Serbs arrested in the north are captured and then beaten and mistreated by Albin Kurti's forces
"Contrary to the Albanian propaganda according to which these terrorists are considered kidnapped, no, they were arrested because they crossed the administrative line with full military equipment, and those who were kidnapped are actually Serbs with bare hands who were kidnapped by the so-called. of the Kosovo Police such as Lune Milenkovic, Radosh Petrovic and Dushan Obrenovic. Our state bodies act according to the regulation so that these terrorists are not tortured and beaten, unlike Obrenović; Petrovic and Milenkovic. Dushan, especially, because they had beaten him so much that his face was deformed, while Lunet had been covered with a cloth so that it could not be seen how badly he had been beaten. You see that Kurti does everything day by day to create chaos and conflicts, causes new crises. The idea of his policy is an ethnically pure Kosovo and the expulsion of the Serbs", he concluded.
