As the agreement to postpone the cease-fire between Israel and Hamas by 48 hours has come into force, both sides today have accused each other of breaking it.
Israel's military says three explosive devices detonated near its troops in two locations in northern Gaza in the past few hours, which it says violates the deal.
"A number of soldiers were slightly injured during the incidents," they said. Hamas, on the other hand, has responded to Israel's claims of a clash in the north of Gaza, saying that there was a conflict on the ground due to the enemy's breach of the agreement.
Abu Obeida, a spokesman for the al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas's armed wing, said the group was committed to the ceasefire and urged mediators to pressure Israel to "respect all the terms of the ceasefire on the ground and in the air," reports Sky News.
