The land in Turkey is not finding peace. After the 5.3-magnitude earthquake that injured over 30 people, another 4.9-magnitude earthquake was recorded in the eastern part of Turkey.
According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the epicenter of the earthquake was seven kilometers southwest of the city of Malatya, which has a population of about 441,000, EMSC said.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers. At the moment, there is no information about possible victims or material damage.
We recall that Turkey and Syria were affected by an apocalyptic earthquake on the morning of February 6, from which over 120,000 people were injured and almost 59,000 others died. Since then, the earth has been shaken by numerous earthquakes which occasionally cause panic among the citizens.
