The illusion of Berisha's party transformation

The illusion of Berisha's party transformation
Sali Berisha

Sali Berisha has taken hostage a political space that belongs to the public, the people, the spirit, the people...

The signals coming from the polls published these days on Sali Berisha's approval rating do not stop repeating the rhetoric that the DP is committing suicide and must change.

Commentators who are clearly critical of the DP tend to resort to irrelevant rhetoric that Berisha and the DP can change.

When in fact, Sali Berisha's DP is not simply an electoral political force, but an establishment clan, which does not even care about the voices of the public but pursues its own agenda.
An agenda, which is quite clear that it is not only going against the tide, but also against normal logic and the will of the people who vote for the opposition.

Berisha's agenda is clear, he seeks to survive by force in an opposition space, and intends to hold on to his flag by force, even though he is punished in the US and has a clear anti-Western approach.
Sali Berisha is not stupid; those who give him the idea that he is committing political suicide do not really understand politics.

Sali Berisha has taken hostage a political space that belongs to the public, the people, the spirit, the people. The opposition is not a stage where only one troupe plays, since it was not chosen to manage. The opposition is a square where everyone can play their role.
Sali Berisha does not allow for alternative scenarios, he has the usual libretto with a close objective; to stay in the game. Berisha is not committing suicide, he is simply walking on a road, which although not a highway, is a village road.

He is moving forward, to really get that group of people who love him and ultimately secure a share of the next parliament, as much as he can benefit from the influence, popularity, and clientelistic connections he has built over the years.

This is simply called realpolitik, which the doctor knows better than all the right-wing ajamis. Most of them do not have the means or the inclination to raise a new force that can make a difference.

In fact, this very difference requires a great deal of commitment and is the “main political issue” in the country. But this cannot be done by people with a routine agenda, or thoughts that come naturally after morning coffee or consultation with friends.

We are dealing with a great and extraordinary political mission that if one person does not do it today, someone else will do it tomorrow. The whole secret is to seize the moment. But waiting for Berisha's party to reform or open up is sheer stupidity. But why open up Berisha, when you know that everyone else wants to benefit and make a career at his expense?

Imagine Sali Berisha frustrated not only by his own troubles and years, but also by the inability to bring his heirs to power.

And why would the doctor open the party to anyone who has ambitions to move forward? He wants the DP for himself until the end, as he has said openly: "if there is one left, it will be me", probably quoting Hugo, but who has essentially shown clearly that he has no intention of giving up the DP to anyone. And in this logic, whoever stays with the doctor will have to dance Fatmira Breçani's dance for Sala, otherwise he won't kiss the DP.

So this rhetoric that Berisha will change, more than an illusion, is Olympic laziness. The DP is Sali Berisha's party, which he painfully cannot inherit, but will keep until his last breath until he finds and convinces someone similar. Which is an almost impossible mission. It's that simple!/ Pamphlet
