We are on the eve of the KLA Epic of childhood. Can it serve us for real political reflection always in accordance with the interests of the Nation?
The first Special Representative of the United Nations Organization in Kosovo, administrator Bernard Kushner, a doctor and diplomat of his kind, not by chance from France, after visiting the family of Adem Jashari, our modern Timothy, 26 years ago, declared:
"If there was a Nobel Prize for this kind of sacrifice, this family would be the first in world history to enjoy it."
The great sacrifice of the Jashari family will serve the world for the revival of the Nation, the breeder of the KLA. It marks the last prologue of Serbia's ten-year apartheid in Kosovo, in the heart of Europe!
In that early March of 1998, the era of self-deception was coming to an end.
The so-called "parallel state" with all its structures that kept it afloat, collapsed within three days. The illusions that the liberation of Kosovo could be achieved without sublime sacrifices were piling up in the labyrinths of history.
The marches of civil resistance were giving way to a superior political activity, which is imposed by the guerrilla organization, which with unprecedented speed will be transformed into an army of the people and for the people - like the KLA of the childhood.
The real history of the early KLA, as well as that of the last decade of colonial captivity under Serbia, which took on the features of apartheid, should teach us that the State and its liberating and protective mechanism - the Army, did not can survive if they get up by improvising. For almost three decades in a row, we had mocked the knowledge, courage, sacrifice and art that those who assume the role of political leadership and lead the State and the Army should possess, leaving it in the hands of charlatan improvisers and political ignorance.
The state is too serious an enterprise to be left in the hands of storytellers!
Let's recall for a moment the theoretical opinion of one of the most well-known researchers of the theory of the State: "The theory of the State has the task of researching the special reality of the state life that surrounds us. He who wants to understand the state must know its entire structure and current function, its historical development and its developmental trends". [ Hermann Heller: The Theory of the State, p. 12]
The reality of our state [the second Albanian Republic in Southeast Europe] and the environment in which He was born and is living is bitter, as long as Serbia is ruled by the most fanatical followers of Serbian klerofascism - such as the duo Vucic-Dacic and the establishment that has as its strategic objective the creation of the "Serbian World", but even as long as Serbia oscillates between the East and the West...
The establishment that runs Serbia today applies the same political philosophy and theories that its predecessors applied, since the prime minister the first [Garashanini] had promoted the platform of the modern Serbian state for continuous expansion to the detriment of its neighbors.
The epic of the KLA should bring us back to its postulate: The state must be raised and strengthened through collective sacrifices. Our republic is based on this postulate, therefore its leaders are guided by the state philosophy that takes into consideration the definitions, origins, forms, tasks and possible goals of the state as well as its institutional, social, ethical and legal conditions and limitations.
In the circumstances we are in, especially in the era when the war in Ukraine is imposing geopolitical realignments even of those who preferred political-military neutrality, our Republic, the Nation as a whole, not only must prove itself strongly as part of the West, giving hope to new to our political will for integration in the Euro-Atlantic structures, but it must be proven every day that we have the will and know how to transform the construction of the State into an instrument of the Nation's interests.
Remembering and recording the Epic of the KLA from childhood brings us back not to any secret national project, which was not even Adem Jashari's goal, but to the instinct that Plato in his book on "The State" calls "thymos", that is, to that instinct that puts the individual into action to achieve equal treatment. When the singularization of the individual in the being of Adem Jashari and his family takes the plural form of the State, then our collective action in the political plane could be imposed as a mature will for equal treatment in the geopolitical bloc where we are aligned./ Pamphlet
