What is happening in the Muslim Community in Albania, namely with the clashes between the parties, is not an election dispute. It is pure political war.
A war that is being instigated, supported and financed by Ankara.
The Foreign Minister of Turkey Hakan Fidan, during his agenda in Tirana, did not only visit the great mosque, but also met the groups that should be activated in the fight against the KMSH.
They are structured groups in NGOs, which are not only supported, but financed by the millions that the AKP circles of Turkey bring to Tirana.
The Albanian Muslim community, after the fall of communism, has not had the opportunity to be fully controlled by the many currents that have penetrated through donations, or even bequeathed for properties and endowments.
Hafiz Sabri Koçi is careful to leave a network of muftis and hoxhallars, to be as close as possible to traditional Islam.
There were some of the mosques that were controlled by different districts. For example, the clan from Qatar or Bahrain, generally the most dubious associations, put their hands on the mosque of Kavaja and that of Ura e Tabake, through the creation of an important divan network, but these never became the centers of an "army" that to then line up according to certain interests.
However, throughout this war, there have also been big interests operating that lead to the power that KMSH has as the largest owner of the waqf, i.e. the properties it administers throughout the country. All the waqf properties have not yet been returned. It should be taken into account that most of the waqf properties are in big cities, they are the most coveted areas by the property mafia.
In 2000, the secretary of the Albanian Muslim Community, Sali Tivari, was killed in completely suspicious circumstances. A murder that has not yet been solved.
After this murder, a great influence began in the community, the influence of the Turkish wing, as a result of TIKA's investments. Recep Tayyip Erdogan came to power, who then had close allies with Fetullah Gülen's movement. A lobbyist movement that financed the education of mejteps in madrassas and higher theological schools.
Many Albanian students were educated in the schools that Gülen financed and is currently financing, who also lived in houses or dormitories that were also financed by Fetullah Gülen. Naturally, the Hoxhallars who graduated from these schools would come and work as imams and muftis in Albania.
But with the break with Gülen, Erdogan demanded that all the clerics that he could not control leave. He has done this in Kosovo, Macedonia, Bosnia and Albania.
Here, but also in Kosovo and North Macedonia, the USA has intervened, which has not allowed the Muslim communities to return to the political nurseries of Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Which aims to create a political community, ready to act in certain situations according to its interest. So, that in the mosque, there are not just believers who go and pray the 5 meals of the prayer, but do what they did when they attacked the mufti of Tirana, in the Dine Hoxha Mosque on Kavaja Street.
Erdoğan controls several associations that publish magazines, newspapers and portals, which create an atmosphere of hatred among believers. One of the portals is the majlis, which is heavily sponsored in social networks.
He accuses and distributes videos against all those he calls Gulenists. But if you look carefully at these materials, they are just propaganda.
There are no logical criticisms, the listing of normal facts, or even base accusations. Then, on the other hand, believers who are dissatisfied with the election process in KMSH, have all the opportunities to follow the process in the justice bodies.
Requesting the verification of the regularity of the election process, documents, or even take to the prosecutor's office the facts that they may have for forgery.
In a state of law, these are the only possibilities, then, if it happens like in the Arab countries, where the Salafists and hypocrites, and then the Taliban have taken all the mosques and madrassas by force, then we are not in a state of law.
KMSH is an organization that operates according to the Constitution and laws of the state. Whoever contests it, must do so according to legal and constitutional means.
The one who is violating the Constitution in this case is Erdogan, who blatantly does not hand over the Great Mosque to the only clerical authority of the Albanian Muslims.
If he has financed it for the faithful, he cannot condition the establishment of a parallel KMSH, which undermines not only relations between Muslims, but creates a dangerous precedent, as has happened in various small Arab countries, where dark organizations have tried to take the clerical ulema by force.
Meanwhile, the great stress that has caught the Erdoganists is that the US has informed them that it will not allow the creation of a parallel community, which is not recognized by the state. And here the chances are that the big clash between the Americans and Edi Rama will really start./ Pamphlet
