Rama abandons the SP party, 'dances' with the American Democrats...
While the Socialists should be celebrating the founding of their party today, the one they voted for en masse on May 11th abandoned them for another event, Alex Soros's wedding.
As " Pamphlet " first announced, Rama today boarded a plane to head to the US, not for an official visit and meetings with the Trump administration, but to be present at the wedding between Alex Soros and Huma Abedin on Saturday.
The irony is that in recent months, Rama has tried to hide his relationship with his American "brother." After Trump's victory, Rama and Soros 'hidden' their meeting in February, during a Summit in Germany.
Meanwhile, Soros was left out of the EU summit in Tirana on May 16, unlike what happened at the last summit. Also, Rama does not have any photos on social media with George Soros' son. Why? Because Soros is Trump's classic enemy.
But this June, it seems as if the accounts have been reopened. Rama has returned to the Democratic elite. The special guests at the wedding will be Bill and Hillary Clinton and Rama will be surrounded by many other Democrats, 'enemies' of Trump.
And this move comes at a time when the US embassy has torpedoed Rama several times. There were no congratulations on his election victory, while there were coded messages about his 'intoxication' from power. US officials themselves have said that they do not work with autocrats who do not think about the people, but only about power.
Showing up at a wedding with the Soros and Clintons, at a time when Republicans are on the offensive and Trump is 'ruling' the world, is a clear signal of which side Edi Rama is on. And that could cost him.
Trump and Republicans have for years attacked Soros as a symbol of interference in the politics of other countries, including Albania. Now that the Albanian prime minister decides to pose at a wedding among the most hated names by Republicans, he risks further cooling relations with the Trump 2.0 administration.
On the other hand, either Rama has realized that the Republicans have "put a visa" on him and is trying to hold on tightly to Soros, in the hope that he will help him again. Or he hopes that Jared Kushner will help him, since he forgave Sazan. We have to wait and see, what are the tricks both Rama and Soros can do to hide the photos of the prime minister's presence at the wedding. /Pamphlet
