Eduard Shalsi threw the hooks yesterday. To measure the reactions of the people (the uninformed) and the opposition MPs, the former servant of Edi Rama in the municipality of Tirana, currently the chairman of the Commission for Economy and Finance, said that, "the time had come to build a new relationship between Assembly and KLSH".
So Shalsi, one of the individuals with the most dubious intelligence that Albanian politics has produced, following Bablok's order, came out yesterday and said that a parliamentary subcommittee should be created to investigate the High State Control. A non-bipartisan commission even, according to Shalsi, not to be led by the SP and DP, but only by the socialists because "that's what the experts have advised".
We are not dealing at all with the reservations, not to mention the revolts, with which this proposal was received, both from the left and right deputies. We will give only two simple, irrefutable and fully verifiable arguments that are enough to refute the idea of Shalsi, which is essentially nothing but Edi Rama's attempt to capture the only functional and independent institution in the country.
First, the Supreme State Audit Office is the only institution that has the merit of discovering the biggest cases of corruption in Albania. The sterilization files and other PPPs of Edi Rama together with all the abuses of the state budget money have come out of the checks that KLSh does every year. In the last report submitted to the Assembly on the management of public finances by the government, the KLSH has determined an economic damage of 72.3 billion lek due to bad management and legal violations committed by the state and local administration during 2023. Read this to understand why did Edi Rama attack KLSH?
Secondly, and here we will stop a little longer, look at whose neck Edi Rama has hung this rope. The initiator is Eduart Shalsi. Former servant of Bablok in the municipality of Tirana who never shone anything in life, except for serving as a foot mat for the Prime Minister's oligarchs who occasionally throw him a bone in exchange for service. Every time Rames has to reformat taxes, in the interest of oligarchs and drug cartels who invest in construction, every time he has to throw checkers to cover illegality, Rama puts Shalsi on the market.
To remind them exactly which character we are talking about, we are returning to his epic statement, before the 2013 elections: When we come to power, we will not blatantly steal like these". Shalsi warned this in the time of the peak of his political career. A failed character, who was remembered in the municipality for the wood that his ex-wife gave him in public, from which he "saved" by throwing himself into the arms of an architect who today cleans the money of some from the friends of the boss of Shalsi.
So this scumbag will control the only independent and clean institution left in the country. Rama is trying to bring this non-functional ignoramus under control, just as he did with SPAK and KLSH.
