The physical and virtual state go on vacation, but penalizes businesses; The sun

It has become common practice that whenever there is a holiday that falls near the end or beginning of the week, the closest day is also made an official holiday by government decision. However, the decision is valid only for the public administration.

Businesses often do not have the luxury of taking such a long break, as they ultimately do not have the guaranteed income for employee salaries, like the public administration that receives from taxpayers.

With Christmas Day, December 25th, being a Thursday, Friday was also a holiday for the administration, making it four consecutive days, including the fundraiser.

Theoretically, this should not hinder business activity, since almost every action is now carried out online and even the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, named "Diella", operates virtually.

Businesses have been practically blocked for days as the online system is either not working or is functioning with great difficulty.

Businesses reported to "Monitor" that basic operating systems were not functioning on Friday and the situation is the same on Saturday. With the physical state closed, the online state down, and Minister "Diella" not responding because she cannot access the system, businesses are being penalized and their activities are being hindered, while they have nowhere to complain.

For days, at the National Business Center (NBC), applications for registration of new companies, or changes (sale of quotas, capital) cannot be made, in the "self care" system through which invoices are issued, it is impossible to enter. It is also not possible to apply for maternity leave, or to add new employees, as the page scrolls blank or you have to wait a long time.

Even for the individual, if they want to download a certificate, it is impossible, since the code that allows you to log in to the account does not come at all.

Meanwhile, the tax system (E-tax) is working normally, but other systems, where the connection is made through the National Information Society Agency (AKSHI), are often not functional, or work with great difficulty.

"The system continues to have problems. Even though you click "Self Care" to open it, once you enter your e-Albania data, the service does not work. The same situation occurs when you try to access the Tax website through e-Albania, where the system does not open and displays the same problem. This situation is creating serious difficulties for economists in carrying out their duties," says Igli, an accountant.

According to businesses, this situation, which has been going on for days, poses a serious concern for the normal functioning of economic activity and the relationship between businesses and public administration or between professionals and their clients.

Albania could be a unique country, where businesses "beg" the government to let them work! / Monitor
