The decision to grant the DP seal to Sali Berisha did not come from a trial on the merits as requested by the Supreme Court. But from an almost administrative verdict that simply did not accept the DP's appeal against Agron Zhukri's decision.
Legally it is really an open battle, but politically it is beyond memes, the real political fight of Lulzim Basha.
A fight that Basha has never done in public, since January 8, 2022.
The people most worried about this decision are not even the leaders around Basha, or even the deputies who are thinking about where they will go today. But the militants of the Democratic Party since September 2021 have been fighting a life battle with Sali Berisha's gangs.
Even though the leaders of the PD at the base were actually the people who protected the party from aggression, Lulzim Basha has done nothing to promote this political battle, which has been the most real in Albanian politics these years.
Basha has assembled the presidency and now theses are circulating, where, among other things, there is also talk of merging with Gaz Bardhi and Flamur Noka. Variant that both Basha and his colonels can do as an option, but that really betray the democrats. Who have waited in vain for Lulzim Basha to promote their political battle.
If the decision of the Court of Appeal came as it did, it is up to Basha to defend his 3-year battle, which is the identity of his political movement.

Today the Democrats of Shkodra are the most disappointed, the most affected, which their boss never exposed, but the time has come for them to really be the leaders of a new movement. A movement that they have fought hard, but failed to defeat the establishment.
And yet, it was worth it and they should continue. Even without Lulzim Basha.
