Maintaining the DP's relationship with the new justice has served to deceive those citizens disappointed and trampled by a regime that suffocates and steals from them, that someone beyond the opposition will take revenge for this injustice.
Salianji's imprisonment, although it is sad news for anyone who hopes that crime and trafficking are still reportable in this country, paradoxically opens a good bracket for the opposition. From now on, PD and its allies must clear their ranks of useful idiots who keep saying: "we believe in the new justice".
After SPAK and GJKKO alienated the result of the elections in Himare and imprisoned the winning candidate, only through falsified evidence by the political police of the regime and now when the first instance court and the appeal used the same technology with paid witnesses, there is no more no illusions about the reform supported by the Euro-Atlantic.
These two cases have tarnished both the special prosecution, as well as the ordinary one, as well as the GJKKO, as well as the three levels of judgment together with the Constitutional Court.
They proved that the banal tricks of ordinary policemen like Ermal Hajdini, Berti Nushi or Andon Marko are transformed into orders for justice, falling so low that degraded pawns like Arsen Rama or Alfred Alizoti serve to abolish the mandates issued by the elections.
There is no longer any illusion left that, just like everything that bears the "independent" label in this country, the institutions that emerged from the justice reform have simply turned into levers of the regime.
The acceptance of this bitter truth should be a turning point for the opposition as well. Initially, affirming this fact with his mouth full, and above all, changing the approach to them so far. For this it can be started with some initial steps.
First, in the new lists of the DP and allies, there can no longer be any candidates for MPs who spout idiocy in support of SPAK, GJKKO, the Supreme Court or the Constitutional Court. Thus, the PD will be crushed by the electoral challenge of 2025, not only because the opposition has degraded, but above all because the regime has become tougher and under these conditions, it does not have the luxury of keeping mercenaries within itself. Many who suffer from the complex of how the future American ambassador or the current one of the EU will see him and therefore continue to spout untruths, cannot be from now on a representative of the opposition voice. Being such, that is, an opponent of this regime, is not simply certified by the criticism of Rama, but above all by the clear dividing line with this captured justice and the internationals who continue to tell the tale of its rebirth.
Second, DP should consider the alternative of severing relations with SPAK and stop parades with denunciation files in front of its railings. This fruitless exercise has only served to distort the illusion that a part of our society continues to believe in the heroes of a woman who could not have children. Did all the lawsuits of the opposition make sense, when for the incinerators that do not exist, there are only a few in prison who brought pennies home? Have they borne fruit for concessions in health, when the former minister is accused of abusing restaurant bills? Did they have an impact on 5D, when the mayor claims that the 30 million public tenders were eaten like plums and pears behind his back?
Rather than for the "end of impunity", maintaining the DP's relationship with the new justice has served to deceive those citizens disappointed and trampled by a regime that suffocates and steals from them, that someone beyond the opposition will take revenge for this injustice. For this reason too, the DP must put an end to this game that not only harms it, but locks society into a lethargic sleep.
If Berisha and his worthy students really have character distortions in their denunciations, let them make them on the social network, let them confront SPAK with facts from the DP pulpit, but the parade of deputies with microphones from behind, in front of a palace of dreams erected only to keep alive the illusion of striking big fish must be stopped.
Thirdly, lest any misunderstanding be created, the termination of the relationship with SPAK and the new justice does not mean that they will be challenged or opposed when they take decisions against the opposition. The case of Salianj who chose to walk with his own feet to the unjust prison is symbolic of this. This policy of distancing should not be used to be blamed by the regime as a behavior driven by fear or self-interest. It should serve as a clear dividing line to prove that the Lu-Vlahutin reform, voted in the assembly with 140 votes, is already opposed by a mass of hundreds of thousands of Albanians.
Only by defining this clear dividing line, the opposition can make society reflect on the deceptive fable of the new justice, which unfortunately, thanks to the intense propaganda on the Tirana-Brussels-Washington line, there are still people who continue to believe. No one can imagine any improvement and change without this fable first falling apart. Without winning the ideological battle, there can be no concrete achievement. And this is the ideal case for launching this action. With the final decision, to exonerate a drug trafficker by imprisoning his informant, the renaissance soldiers in the system crossed the rubicon. They served up the perfect case of no turning back.
