She is a calm profile, without a history of conflict and without heavy political baggage.
Ilda Zhulali is the daughter of the former Minister of Defense during the first government in 1992-96, Safet Zhulali, and the wife of Aldo Bumçi, former minister and former leader of the Democratic Party in Tirana. This connection, although not definitive, has a symbolic effect for a party that often seeks political security in names with a history from the DP's political past.
